Prague to host ICSC European Conference (CZ/EU)

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is holding its 2010 European Conference in Prague, The Czech Republic from 28-29 April 2010. ICSC is the global trade association of the shopping centre industry with more than 60,000 members in 80 countries across the world.
The conference, entitled ‘After the Gold Rush’, is being held at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague and will be chaired by Joerg Banzhaf, Managing Director of ECE Projektmanagement International G.m.b.H.

Keynote speakers include internationally-acclaimed speaker Chris Luebkeman, Director for Global Foresight and Innovation at Arup, Chaim Katzman, Chairman, Gazit Inc., Equity One Inc., USA and Atrium European Real Estate Ltd, Netherlands and Martin Brühl, Managing Partner, Cushman & Wakefield LLP, Germany.

CEOs from some of Europe’s most successful real estate development and management companies will also take to the platform to debate the most important issues for the industry and how their companies are dealing with them.

The ICSC European Conference also hosts the annual ICSC European Shopping Centre Awards, which set the standard for the most innovative and successful shopping centres across Europe

Conference Chair, Joerg Banzhaf, said: “We must harness the tentative recovery that much of Europe is now experiencing and take a long, hard look at the future for our industry and for the communities we serve. ICSC European conferences always enjoy an exceptionally high level of debate amongst delegates who represent developments worth €billions of Euros and contribute significant sums to the European economy.
